Thomas Buhrke, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 surrounded by his family in Roswell, New Mexico. He was born to the home of Donald and Jean (Standbridge) Buhrke on September 9, 1952 in Evanston, Illinois.
Tom spent most of his life in Roswell. He worked for Transportation Manufacturing Corporation (TMC) and NOVA Bus for 21 years as a machine operator. Tom was a member of the Boy Scouts of America having served as a scoutmaster for many years. He also attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Roswell.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents Don and Jean Buhrke; grandparents Jennie and Thomas Standbridge; in-laws Victor and Kate Wright; brothers-in-law Robert Williams and Richard Wright; and sisters-in-law Beth Ann Robin and Vickie Roach.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Alda Buhrke of Roswell; stepsons Andrew DeHosse of Roswell and Anthony DeHosse of Rio Rancho, NM; sister Cathy Williams of Lovington, NM; Granddaughters Deonna Hoy of Clovis, NM, Mackenzie Hoy of Loco Hills, NM and Ahrianna DeHosse of Loco Hills, NM; and grandson Carson DeHosse of Rio Rancho, NM. Tom also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
