On Tuesday, December 15, 2015, Tim took his last breath on earth and his first in heaven. He was 53 years old and lived each day with an amazing attitude and positive outlook on life.
Timmy Lloyd Hedgecock was born June 17, 1962 in Roswell, N.M. to Jack and Mary Hedgecock. Tim grew up in Roswell and graduated from Goddard High School in 1980. While in school, Tim received a special award for perfect attendance, without one tardy or missing one day of school from his first day of Kindergarten through his junior year of high school. It was not until he broke his leg in a basketball game in his senior year did he miss a day. An amazing athlete, Tim participated in track, cross country, baseball, and basketball. He received many awards and enjoyed sports very much. He loved to watch football, especially the Raiders and the Patriots, and he often said, "Just give Tom Brady the ball."
Tim was a hard worker, honest, and always early everywhere he went. He was a faithful friend, amazing son, loving brother, and dad. Tim loved to go fishing and he loved to work. For thirty years off and on, Tim worked in the oilfield and for K-Deck Construction. If you asked him for help he wouldn't hesitate and without question he would give you anything you needed. In everything he did, Tim was kind, funny, and always looked for the positive in every situation.
Tim is proceeded in death by his grandparents Charles and Pearl Hedgecock, Lloyd and Jessie Chipps, and Garland and Almeda Slover.
