Tom Deck

DECK, TOM III TOMMYMemorial services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Tom Tommy Deck, age 44, of Roswell, who passed away April 6, 2007 at his residence. Rev. Danny Sons of Midway Assembly of God will officiate.

Tommy was born June 25, 1962 in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico to Tom Deck Jr. and Barbara A. Meadows Tyler.

Tommy married Cheryl Ostrander on March 9, 1990 in Roswell, New Mexico

He is also survived by his parents, of Roswell Cheryl; a son: Corey Deck of Roswell; a daughter: Kelsey Deck of Roswell; brothers: Richard Deck and his wife Lisa of Roswell, Jeff Deck and his wife Kathy of Roswell; a sister: Janice Ott and her husband Bruce of McCalister, Oklahoma and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many, many friends by whom he will never be forgotten.

Tommy spent 10 years in the oilfield, after which he spent 17 years as a dedicated plumber for Deltons Plumbing, playing an instrumental part in the construction of many new homes and businesses of Roswell and the surrounding area. Tommy also loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and raising his beloved cattle he enjoyed so much.

We will also remember Tommy for his gift of gab, always having a spectacular story to tell about any subject. He was a hardworking man with a heart of gold: He loved his children, his family and his friends.
