RODRIGUEZ, TOMASA TOMMIEServices are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at South Manor Baptist Church, 1905 S. Main for Tomasa Tommie Rodriguez, age 81, of Dexter who passed away February 3, 2008. Rev. Butch Neal of South Manor Baptist Church will officiate, assisted by Rev. Johnny Castro of Primera Iglesia Bautista of Dexter with interment to follow at Hagerman Cemetery.

Tommie was born March 7, 1926 in Artesia, to Don and Celsa Orona both preceded her in death, as well as her husband Eufemio Rodriguez in Sept 30, 1999, Sisters, Adela Salcido, Amelia Rodriguez, Eloida Gonzales, brothers, Frank Orona, Pete Orona and Edward Orona, which all have preceded her in death.

Tommie is survived by her children: Rudy Rodriguez of Roswell, Betty Chaves and her husband Samuel of Dexter, Richard Rodriguez and his wife Elma of Roswell. Four grandchildren: Aldo Louis Chaves and his wife Brenna of Midland, TX, Samuel Julian Chaves of Las Cruces, Ian Richard Rodriguez and Neya Miah Rodriguez of Roswell.

Tommie was a homemaker. She was a faithful servant of the Lord all of her life.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Aldo Louis Chaves, Samuel Julian Chaves, Ian Richard Rodriguez, Neya Miah Rodriguez, Nephews, Tom Rico of Roswell and Ray Acosta of Santa Fe.
