Tommy Ansley

ANSLEY, TOMMY J. Graveside services will be held at South Park Cemetery at 10:00 A. M., Wednesday, September 5, 2007 for Tommy J. Ansley.

Tommy J Ansley passed away September 2, 2007 after an extended illness.

Tommy was born January 16, 1929 in Amarillo, Texas to Roy and Jewel Watson Ansley, who preceded him in death.

Tommy and Joyce Talley were married on March 20, 1951 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Joyce survives him at the family home.

He is also survived by two daughters, Deborah Lasley and husband Wayne of Broken Arrow, OK and Dana Guild and husband Tim of Dallas, TX., three granddaughters, Shelly and Haley Guild of Dallas, TX and Veronica Ansley of Garland, TX.,sister Anna Proctor of Roswell, sister-in-law Berlene Tony of Claunch, NM. Tommy was preceded in death by his only son Douglas, his only brother, Billy J. Ansley and parents.

Tommy served his country in the U. S. Navy from 1946 to 1950. He was honorably discharged in California. He returned to Roswell, home and family.

Tommy owned Century 21 Home Planning until his retirement in 1991. He sold out to Steve Smith.

Tommy and Joyce enjoyed boating, boat races and golf. They traveled to many places with their dear friends, Joe and Anita Head.

Although your journey on earth is over, you will be with all who love you, as we complete our lives, always loving and missing you.
