Vera Allen

ALLEN, INEZFuneral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2013 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Inez Allen, age 94, of Roswell who passed away April 15, 2013. Pastor Glenn Thyrion of Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate with interment to follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park.
Inez was born April 4, 1919 in Balinger, Texas to Charley and Emma Wright. They have preceded her in death as well two sons, Henry Allen, and Willard Allen, four sisters, Margaret Bratcher, Mildred Jones, Leona Wright and Glenda Bratcher, and two brothers, Rochelle Wright and Kenneth Wright.
Inez married Ned W. Allen in Roswell, New Mexico on October 31, 1938. He has also preceded her in death.
Inez is survived by two sons: Roy Allen and his wife Jacque and Ardist Allen and his wife Sylvia both of Roswell three sisters: Dorothy Wright and Hazel McInnes both of Roswell and Ruth Gaines of Florida six Grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Inez was a homemaker. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She was also a Chaves County Extension Club member.
Pallbearers will be Heath Allen, Shawn Allen, Todd Allen, Lance Allen, Cody Allen, Tom Banks and Kelly Patrick.
