Victor Roehlk

August 11, 1945 — September 23, 2016

Victor "Vic" Earl Roehlk passed peacefully from this life to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 23rd, 2016. A memorial service honoring his life will be held at 2p.m. on Sunday, October 2 at Christ's Church in Roswell. Pastors Gerry Chavez and Lonnie Owens will officiate.

Vic was born August 11th, 1945 to Harley and Helen Roehlk in Los Angeles, CA. He spent his childhood in Southern California with his younger sister Eileen and enjoyed working at Ralph's grocery store, playing tennis, and racing American muscle cars. He attended the University of Southern California and graduated from Woodbury University. After graduating college, he served in the US Army from 1969 to 1971 flying all over Europe with a helicopter transportation company out of Germany.

Returning to California and working again at Ralph's he met and fell in love with Sally Joan McDuell. They were married on August 19th, 1972 and have remained married and in love ever since. In 1978, Vic moved to Roswell, NM to start a commercial plumbing business with his father-in-law John McDuell, naming it Triple Crown Mechanical, Inc., symbolizing their Christian belief in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Vic operated the business for 33 years and loved the Roswell community.

Vic is survived by his wife Sally Roehlk, his three sons and their wives: Michael and Sarah, Matty and Camille, and Jonathan and Katie. He adored and will be missed by six granddaughters: Bennett, Kylie, Isabel, Piper, Kaia, and Scout. He is also survived by his sister Eileen Seymour and her husband Fred.
Vic loved his family and friends unconditionally. He treasured camping and family vacations, coaching his boys in sports, golfing with his sons and golfing buddies who affectionately called him "Possum", and serving his Lord in his church, business, and community. He will be missed by all who knew him, and we are grateful for his life and faith and the legacy he left.

Instead of gifts or flowers the family requests any donations be made in Vic's honor to www.thetruthinitiative.org. or to the charity of your choice.
