We are blessed that she raised us by example with her wisdom, faith, humor and love of life. Our Mother was a Christian foremost with strong conviction and devout faith. She was an active member of the 1st Baptist Church since 1957.
All who knew her felt her special presence and were comforted by her kind and welcoming manner, she touched their hearts and left a long lasting impression with her grace, manner and dignity.
Our Mother dedicated a portion of her time in Roswell to her church where she taught both young and old, The Roswell Museum of Art as a volunteer docent, The Assistance League of Chaves County and gave time and support to many local charities near and dear to her heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willard Thomas Robertson and Bessie George Robertson, both of Oklahoma, two brothers, Marshall and Walter, one sister Vivian, her husband Captain Robert Dane Charles the love of her life, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
