Virginia "Ginger" Davis

A viewing for Ginger Davis, age 68 of Roswell, NM will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. A graveside service for Ginger will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 24, 2021, at South Park Cemetery with Pastor Rick Hale and Pastor Sean Lee officiating. Ginger passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021.

Clyde McKee performed marriage ceremony for Ginger and Mike, December 4, 1974, in Roswell, NM. Ginger graduated from Dexter High School in 1972 with honors. She loved family and people. She read her Bible daily and wore out the carpet praying. Ginger worked beside her husband for 36 years at U-Haul as managers, worked 6 days a week, 11 hours a day. Only took 2 vacations. She attended and loved the teaching at Grace Community Church, that was the only church she belonged to. She loved going to the Texas Ranger Ballgames, the Dallas Cowboys was her football team. God was first and foremost of her life. Ginger had too many friends to mention but was known by all as “Mrs. U-Haul”.

Ginger was preceded in death by her mom, Mattie Johnson and her dad, JD Johnson.

Ginger is survived by her husband, Mike Davis of the family home; her son, Mike Davis Jr., and Kersondra; her daughter, Tammy Chamberlain and Keith; her brother, Jerry D. Johnson and Carol; her sister, Geraldine Lambert and Jerry. Ginger was also blessed with grandchildren, Elijah Davis, Honesty Davis, Jonathan Ranson, Brianna Ranson, Cheyenne Perez, Donovan Davis, Danielle Davis, Daelyn Davis, and Dylan Davis; great-grandchildren, Kiya and Kamlyn Davis. Ginger will be greatly missed by all.
