MEREDITH, VIVIAN GRACEServices are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Calvary Baptist Church for Vivian Grace Meredith. Rev. Ben Talley will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.
Vivian passed away July 24, 2007, at her home. Vivian was born April 2, 1911, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Armedas C. Ballew and Josephine O. Wallis Ballew. Vivian was married to Dee Meredith, January 31, 1948, in Carlsbad, NM. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers, Cecil Ballew, Robert Ballew and Russell BRBallew.
Vivian was a retired beautician. She was a member of the quilters club. She loved music and traveled to parts of NM, TX and OK to attend singing conventions and was a delegated for the State of NM. She wrote and published gospel music and hosted many singing sessions in her home.
The Calvary quartet will sing three songs. Vivian is leaving a trail of love witnessed by the songs that she Has gone where the soul never dies followed by Will the circle be unbroken and Always hold to Gods unchanging hand.
Pallbearers are the senior deacons from Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter Joyce McDougal of Largo, Fl; nephews Ronald Ballew of Artesia, NM; Brian Ballew of Clovis, NM; Raymond Ballew of Altus, OK and niece Lorene Biddy of Altus, OK. She is also survived by great nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces.
