Walk Gallegos

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday November 10th, 2015 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Walk L. Gallegos, age 52, of Roswell, who was called home to be with the Lord on October 31st, 2015. Walk was born on March 3rd, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan to Jose and Linda Gallegos. Through high school Walk was in the R.O.T.C. at Goddard, he then went on to serve his country in the United States Army for 15 years; receiving an honorable discharge. Walk loved many things about life, especially his wife Maryalice Gallegos and his family. Walk was a gentle person and would help the underdog whenever he could. At the time of his passing he worked for TDM Leasing LTD; he also worked for Haliburton for a number of years and for Griffitts Trucking for 3 years.
Walk is survived by his wife Maryalice Gallegos, Mother Linda Gallegos-Griffitts, stepfather Dan of Artesia, father Jose A. Gallegos and stepmother Sharon of Roswell. He is also survived by a brother Jose A. Gallegos II and his wife Kim of Midland, Texas. Two sisters Robbie M. Blair, Lynnie A. Moore and her husband John Moore, all of Roswell. Also daughter Maggie Gallegos of Bristol, Tennessee. Nephews Vincent and Daniel Gallegos, nephew Zachary Blair, and nieces Meghan Cullins, Lynsey Moore, Amanda Moore, Madison and Brenna Gallegos. He will be missed greatly by everyone who knew him. We love you Walk.
