Walter was the owner and operator of a salvage yard. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Williams, Jr. of Amarillo, TX, Ernie Williams and his wife Donise of Amarillo, TX, Elgin Williams and his wife Flora of Seattle, Washington, Sandra Williams of Amarillo, TX, Antionette Williams, of Amarillo, TX, Carolyn Williams, Amarillo, TX, Zella Ratliff and her husband Kenneth of Amarillo, TX, Anita Williams of Albuquerque, NM, Anderas Garcia of Juarez, Mexico brother: Gus Jay Williams, Jr. of Campton, CA sisters: Katie McKay of Amarillo, TX, Elizabeth Hodges of St. Louis, MO, Nelline Scott of CA, Jean Williams of CA, Carrie Smith of Amarillo, TX and W. Joyce Simmons of Amarillo, TX he is also survived by loved ones, Myrtle V. Williams and Cruz Williams. He has a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren and relatives and friends.
