Wanda Spencer-Brandes

BRANDES, WANDA JO BAKER SPENCER Wanda went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 28, 2012. Wanda passed away in Granbury, Texas. She was 83 years old, and a member of Action Baptist Church in Granbury, Texas.
Visitation will be held at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Roswell, New Mexico on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 8 AM to 7 PM. Graveside services will be in Roswell, New Mexico, at South Park Cemetery at 11:00 AM, January 31, 2012. Wandas nephew, Reverand Henry Max Perkins of Las Cruces, New Mexico, will do the graveside services.
Wanda was one of nine children. She was born May 24, 1928, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, to parents William J. Baker and Ira L. Baker, who preceded her in death. Also a sister Lorena Baker and two brothers: Rex Baker and William L. Baker, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors are: Sisters Laverne Perkins, Earlene Terry, Joy Roach and Leta J. Riley. Brother: Jerry Wayne Baker.
Wanda and first husband Carl E. Spencer, who preceded her in death, had six children. Survivors are Carl G. Spencer, Carol A. Reed, Patsy J. Murfin, Sherry A. Ames, Susan L. Gray and Michael E. Spencer. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and lots more family and friends.
Wandas second husband, Jack A. Brandes also preceded her in death.
