William Dennis

Private graveside services were held for long time Roswell resident Wm. Glenn Dennis who passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Roswell. The service was conducted by Pastor Troy Grant under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
Glenn was born March 24, 1925 in Abilene, Texas to Ben F. and Rilla Dennis who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Kathleen and daughter Pamela Abbott.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy K. Dennis, Siri and Roger Cooper and son-in-law Lee K. Abbott. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Noel and Sara Abbott, Kelly and Stephanie Abbott and Cassandra and Paul French, and his four great-grandchildren Mia, Max, David and Will.
He served as a funeral director for many years in both Roswell and Las Cruces, New Mexico. Upon his retirement he pursued his love for the arts as a bronze metal sculptor in Roswell and Lincoln, New Mexico. He was one of the three founding members of the International UFO Museum and Research Center, a facility of world -wide renown of which he was most proud.
Glenn was a lover of the arts, his animals and his family. Known for his welcoming smile and good humor, he will be missed by his family and friends.
The family appreciates the compassionate care he received at Mission Arch Care Center in his declining years. Donations may be made to the Roswell Humane Society.
