LINDER, WILLIAM C. “BILL” -William C. “Bill” Linder, age 92 of Roswell passed away at his home Monday, November 2, 2020.
A graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 5, 2020 at South Park Cemetery.
Bill was born to Jesse Linder and Frances Pate Linder on December 9, 1927, in Cherokee County, Texas. Bill was married to the love of his life, Dorthy for 68 years. He is survived in death by his sister, Loraine Cole, and proceeded in death by his sister, Jesse Mae.
Bill lived a long, loving and fulfilling life. Upon turning 17 he enlisted in the Navy, where he served as a First Class Seaman from 1944 to 1946. Soon after he met and married Dorothy. His hobby turned into his career when he attended auto body/paint school, later he received his Masters as an auto body technician. He had a long and successful career in auto body work that he was proud of and loved. Bill and Dorthy enjoyed many years in Roswell, they loved their church family at Country Club Road Church of Christ, where they loved and served the church and the community.
Bill would like to give his appreciation to the caregivers that loving took care of thin until death; Teresa, Eva, Nicole, and Stephanie.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Lair, Lee Rogers, Raymond Santilla, Manny Ramiez, Tim Dunnahoo, and Charlie Daniels.
