SCHWARZ, WILLIAM -- Graveside Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Today, Friday, June 20, 2008 at Memory Lawn Memorial Park for William Schwarz, age 78, of Roswell, who passed away on June 18, 2008 at a local nursing home. The services will be conducted by the Roswell Veterans Honor Guard.BRBRWilliam was born August 14, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to William F. Schwarz, Sr. and Mary A. Keifer Schwarz. His mother and father preceded him in death. BRBRHe married Cora Lee on Sept. 18, 1952 in Roswell. She passed away in 2002. He was also preceded by his brother, Charles.BRBRSurvivors include 2 daughters, Mary Miller and her husband Doug of Clovis, and Karen Lea Schwarz of Roswell. Also surviving is a brother, Robert Schwarz, and sisters; Gerry Fasnacht of Philadelphia, Joan ReJinak of Lands Lake Florida, Delores Nigro, and Alice Altamarie, both of Philadelphia. Others surviving are grandchildren; Brian C. Schwarz of Roswell, Nicole Miller Hester and husband Brent of Lubbock and Amber Miller of Portales.BRBRWilliam was retired from the U. S. Air Force in 1968 after serving 21 years.
