CLAY, WILLIE MAE WRIGHT Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2009 for Willie Mae Wright Clay, age 83, of Roswell, who passed away April 12, 2009. Rev. Randy Elftman of Central Church of the Nazarene will officiate with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery

Willie was born February 2, 1926 in DeQueen, Arkansas, to Frank and Betty Christenot. They both have preceded her in death as well as a son: Thomas Dale Wright; two brothers: Henry James Christenot and Ather Christenot; two sisters: Margie Preston and Nettie Granthom.

Willie married John R. Clay on December 6, 1952 in Roswell. He has also preceded her in death.

Willie is survived by her daughter: Wanda Louise Lawson; a brother Johnny Forrest Christenot; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Willie was a waitress. She was a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene.
