With a heavy heart we announce the death of our family Patriarch Willie Leos of Roswell NM. He was born on Tuesday, December 31st, 1935 and drew his last breath on Sunday, May 23rd at 09:45 AM at home, 402 Oakwood Dr. Roswell, NM with Family.
Dad went to school in Carlsbad, NM. Until he enlisted in the Marine Corp at 17 years old in 1952. He was a Korean War Veteran. He also earned a degree in Electronics at ENMU-R and remained in that field until his retirement at 62 years old.
His Parents were Marcos and Ollie Leos. His wife is Esperanza Lujan Leos who was at his side to the last day.
Dad is survived by his wife, Esperanza Leos; sister, Lola Sanchez; brother, Pascual Leos and 6 children: Maria Leos Ayala and husband David Paul, Lorraine Leos Ramirez; Brenda Leos, William Leos and wife Lisa, Ruby Leos, and Jennifer Leos.
Dad loved all his 15 Grandchildren: Marcos, Sophia and husband Eric, Vivian, Daniel, Alexis, Ciera, Freddie, Willie, Erica, Ryan and wife Rauni, Sarah and husband Casey, Taylor, Brandy, Rodney, and Mia.
He is also survived by and loved 16 Great Grandchildren: Gabriella, Gabriel, Tawny, Hayden, Allie, Liam, Thomas, Joshua, Blaine, Riverlyn, Atlas, Darwin, Isaiah, Hailey, Molly Jane, Hunter, and one Great Great-Grandchild Angel. Dad had many nieces and nephews he loved as well.
Our Father loved God and reading scripture. He was a mentor to us all. He enjoyed his family sharing his love for God, Golf, Classic Cars, Politics and not least his Humor. We will all miss him.
Services for Willie will be Tuesday, June 1 ,2021, beginning with reciting a rosary at 9:30 AM and following with Mass at 10:00 AM at Assumption Catholic Church, 2808 N. Kentucky, Roswell NM. Interment will be South Park Cemetery,3101 S. Main, Roswell NM.
Pallbearers will be: Rodney Bell, Thomas Hill, Joshua Hill, Isaiah Leos, Ryan Leos, Freddie Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearer is Brian Ouellette.
