Willie Nunez

NUNEZ, WILLIE L.A Rosary will be prayed Sunday at 7:00 P.M., November 25, 2007 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Willie L. Nunez, age 86, of Roswell, who passed away November 21, 2007 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. The Resurrection Mass will be at 12:10 P.M., Monday, November 26, 2007 at Assumption Catholic Church, with Fr. Bill McCann officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Willie was born October 10, 1921 in Picacho, New Mexico, to Guillero and Transita Nunez. They both have preceded him in death, as well as his brothers and sisters..

Willie is survived by a son: Willie L. Nunez, Jr. of Roswell; three grandchildren: Willie L. Nunez and his wife Angela of Albuquerque, NM, Vicki Renee Nunez and Phillip Ray Nunez both of Las Cruces; three great grandchildren: Willie L. Nunez, Mitchell Wesley Nunez and Isbell Rose Nunez all of Albuquerque, NM, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Willie was a driver for the Sanitation Dept of the City of Roswell. He was of the Catholic Faith.

Pallbearers will be his nephews and nieces.
