KEY, JR, W. M. -- Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 13, 2008 , at LaGrone Funeral Chapel, for W. M. Key, Jr., age 91 of Dunlap, NM. He passed away February 10, 2008 at a local nursing home in Roswell, NM. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.BRBRW. M. was born December 14, 1916 in Tom Green County, Texas, to Wesley Marvin and Lena Johnston Key, Sr. His parents preceded him in death, as well as 2 brothers and 2 sisters. BRBRHe married Bonnie Lee Collins, on June 1, 1941, who also preceded him in death in 1985. In May, 1986 he married Pauline Wright who passed away in June, 1987. In March , 1989, he married Sarabel Hall Overton, who survives him. BRBRMr. Key began his ranching career as a teenager in Tom Green County, Texas with his father and brother, Melvin. Together, they raised sheep on several ranches in Texas before purchasing the LaMora Ranch in De Baca County, NM in 1947. Mr. Key owned and operated his portion of that ranch until his death.BRBRHe was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ft. Sumner.BRBRSurvivors include a son, Collins Key and his wife Joan of Roswell, 2 daughters, Ginger Howe of Longmont, Colorado, and Margie Sitzer , and her husband Larry of Hobbs, New Mexico. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.BRBRPallbearers will be Joe Steele, Gary Key, Billy Key, Bob Key, Mike Mackeben, Cory Howe and Shane Adams.BRBRFriends may pay respects online at www.lagronefuneralchapels.com.BRBRArrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
