MCDERMAN, Y.C. ARNOLD -- Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Memory Lawn Memorial Garden for Y.C. Arnold McDerman, age 98, of Roswell, who passed away April 1, 2007 at a local nursing center. Elton Dilbeck will officiate.

Y.C. was born April 18, 1908 in Alexsadra, Texas to Tomas and Carrie Horron Perry. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Mary Hooper McDerman

Y.C. McDerman married Mary Hooper on July 10, 1946 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Survivors included: a sister in-law Dorothy McDerman and two nephews, John and Tommy McDerman. He also had a long time friend Geraldine Wiloughby.

Y.C. was in the United State Army. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He also was a member of the D.A.V., and the V.F.W.
